Before Submitting Your Application

Remember to make a copy of your scholarship application before mailing.  Both the paper and electronic version must be copied for future reference.

Margo's Scholarship

To date, no one has applied for the Margo Scholarship.  This is another scholarship that is fairly easy to complete.  The winner should have their $400 award by the first week in December.

Democratic Women of the Desert Scholarships

If you haven't already applied, the deadline for these three scholarships is November 2, 2012.  It is a fairly easy application, but you do need two Letters of Recommendation.  Most students have a good chance at winning.  These are being offered ONLY for COD students.

To My Class

We will be working on applying for scholarships in class today.  Be sure that all of your late assignments are in.  Today is the last day for full credit.

Women's Opportunity Award (Soroptimist)

Deadline: December 15, 2012

 

Amount:  $1,800

 

Eligibility Requirements:

• Woman with primary financial responsibility for yourself and your dependents.
• Attending an undergraduate degree program or a vocational/skills training program.
• Have financial need.

COD Scholarship Workshop

The COD Scholarship will be available on Nov. 5th.  Please RSVP for the workshops which will be offered from 11:00 a.m. to Noon in the MultiPurpose Room in the Cravens Building.  Visit www.collegeofthedesert.edu/financialaid and click on workshops.
