Girl Friend Factor Luncheon

Yesterday, I attended the Girl Friend Factor Scholarship luncheon. It was a very successful turnout and it great for me to see former students who have been "adopted" by the Girl Friend Factor,

Please to be sure to apply if you are a woman who is 25 years or older.  If you win an award, they will continue to support you until you graduate.

College of the Desert Scholarship

The COD Scholarship will not be available until after the first of the year (2015).  Please record it in your calendar.  You don't want to miss the opportunity because one application is all that you need to complete for the chance at fifty-seven (57) plus scholarships.

By the way, this is not a difficult application to complete and you probably qualify.

Oprah Winfrey Sweepstakes

Although contests and sweepstakes do not require a GPA nor a strong personal essay,  the competition is stiffer.  BUT what do have to lose?  Give it a try.

Everything Happens for a Reason.

I believe that there are no mistakes in life -- only lessons to be learned.  We keep making the same "mistakes" until we learn the lessons.
